Project Manager (Electrical) (AI Data Centers)

Location: Afton, TX; onsite. Work is performed at active construction sites, with frequent outdoor site visits and up to 10% travel as needed.

What you will do

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, budgets, risks, and mitigation strategies with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Build and lead teams of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, personnel, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Supervise project execution, tracking safety, quality, progress, budgets, and timelines while communicating status to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage scope changes and change orders, maintain project documentation, and prepare progress reports.
• Complete project reviews, final deliverables, documentation, reports, and invoices through project closure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the electrical data center construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, change order requests, scheduling, take-off meetings, and client communication.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to safely navigate active job sites, including uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and other access points, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions with potential exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and other environmental factors.
• Compliance with applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and environmental health and safety policies.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• NFPA 70E or OSHA certification.
• Experience using Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and Primavera P6.
