Project Manager (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and manage Salesforce project delivery from kickoff through deployment and sustainment.
• Run Agile ceremonies, maintain the backlog with the Business Analyst, and coordinate architects, developers, analysts, and government stakeholders.
• Track scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies; report status to program leadership and the government customer.
• Prepare contract deliverables, status reports, and briefings, and manage change requests within contract scope.
• Coordinate release planning, user acceptance testing, go-live activities, and removal of delivery blockers.
• Coordinate documentation and timelines for ATO and RMF activities, capture lessons learned, and improve delivery processes.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Agile delivery experience with Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk on contracts with formal deliverables.
• Experience with project tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project.
• Experience developing process maps using BPMN, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Experience developing and refining user stories.
• Strong organization, communication, customer focus, problem solving, servant leadership, and process improvement skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Nice to have

• Experience managing projects for DoD or other federal government customers, including software, IT, or Salesforce implementation projects.
• Experience supporting the Department of Defense.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) process.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management and Salesforce capabilities and terminology.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, or SAFe certification.
• CompTIA Security+, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, or Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator.
