Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: High Blantyre, United Kingdom; office-based with site visits and travel to various project sites as required

What you will do

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, schedules, and budgets from inception to completion.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and external vendors.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety codes, and quality standards.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, providing updates on progress, milestones, and challenges.
• Monitor expenses, manage budgets, approve invoices, and apply cost-control measures.
• Procure and allocate materials, equipment, and labor required for project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven Project Manager experience specifically in infrastructure, construction, or engineering.
• Previous experience with NEC4 Contracts.
• Strong proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
• Deep understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the infrastructure industry.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
