Enterprise Technology Financial Analyst I

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, Texas, with 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Analyze enterprise technology costs, identify optimization or consolidation opportunities, and recommend improvements.
• Maintain department budgets, track headcount, and provide monthly budget analysis and reporting to management.
• Support FP&A and leadership with requisitions, purchase orders, staffing requests, ad hoc reports, and budget-related inquiries.
• Partner with cost-center owners, internal customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams on ROI reporting and technology initiatives.
• Perform data mining, reporting, dashboard development, and analytical work using budget-related data sources.
• Identify procedural efficiencies, research issues, escalate when needed, and follow through to resolution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, technology financial oversight, or a related field required.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and BI tools, with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding and experience in accounting or financial management, including spreadsheet modeling, data analysis, data mining, and query tools.
• Prior experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to resolving issues, commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, and ability to collaborate across departments to achieve digital technology service goals.
• Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias, integrate AI into workflows, and apply responsible AI practices involving ethics and data protection.

Nice to have

• Certifications in digital technology, IT asset management, service management, technical asset management, vendor management, or related areas.
