Senior Business Technology Analyst

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; hybrid

Salary: $75–$80 per hour

What you will do

• Lead business analysis for complex technology projects, enhancements, and operational initiatives.
• Elicit, document, analyze, and validate business and system requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Plan and coordinate testing, including test execution, defect management, and user acceptance testing.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions while managing relationships with business partners, technology teams, and vendors.
• Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and recommendations; support implementation, production deployments, and post-production stabilization.
• Mentor junior analysts and help ensure solutions meet business, operational, security, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of business analysis or systems analysis experience.
• Experience leading complex technology initiatives from requirements through implementation.
• Strong requirements elicitation, process analysis, stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating testing activities and supporting software delivery lifecycles.
• Experience working effectively with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
• Preferred experience in a regulated industry.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting operationally critical or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience with Quality Center or Qtest for requirements and test management.
• Experience with vendor-managed solutions and enterprise technology projects.
• Experience mentoring analysts or leading delivery teams.
