Senior Manager, NGSS Product Design (AI)

Location: Boston, Chicago, London, São Paulo, or Warsaw. The Warsaw-based role follows a hybrid model with a minimum expectation of two office days per week.

What you will do

• Shape product and experience strategy across complex workstreams for AI-powered digital products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, AI/ML, business, and senior stakeholders on product vision, roadmaps, prioritization, and investment decisions.
• Define how AI creates user and business value, including principles for human-agent interaction, transparency, trust, uncertainty, and human oversight.
• Establish research and discovery strategies, synthesize user research, product data, business context, and technical capabilities, and facilitate senior stakeholder sessions.
• Orchestrate design across teams, resolve dependencies, guide detailed execution, and focus teams on high-value outcomes.
• Manage and develop designers where applicable while scaling design-system and human-agent interaction patterns.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in product design, technology, or a related field, including extensive leadership experience across highly complex products or interconnected workstreams.
• Experience delivering AI/ML-enabled features or products and shaping product and experience strategy for AI- or data-driven products.
• Recognized expertise in product design strategy, design systems, emerging technologies, and the impact of AI on product experiences and development practices.
• Exceptional strategic and systems thinking, with the ability to synthesize complex business, technical, data, and AI context.
• Strong organizational judgment across competing priorities, dependencies, capacity, and investment needs.
• Proven leadership capability, including developing senior talent, setting quality and judgment standards, and providing direction across complex teams and workstreams.
• Experience leading and developing designers; direct management experience is preferred.
• Experience with complex B2B or B2C software and digital products, including AI-powered products.
• Experience using modern AI-enabled design and product-development tools such as Figma, Miro, Claude Design, Claude Code, Cursor, v0, and GitHub.

Nice to have

• Experience defining and scaling human-agent interaction patterns, AI experience standards, or related organizational capabilities.
• Direct management experience with designers.
