AI-first Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom or Helsinki, Finland; hybrid working with flexible hours. Proof of eligibility to work in the relevant country is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Translate complex business requirements and user needs into intuitive product experiences for data-heavy enterprise workflows.
• Rapidly prototype, iterate and ship features using AI-powered tools, including Claude, Figma and MCP integrations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, domain experts, users and internal stakeholders from concept through implementation and validation.
• Balance usability, technical feasibility, business needs and delivery speed while refining solutions through feedback.
• Contribute to the existing AI-first design system, including components, documentation, design tokens, layouts, accessibility and interaction patterns.
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies, agents and workflows while applying design and engineering judgment to AI-generated outputs.

Requirements

• Hybrid design and engineering background with hands-on coding capabilities and a strong understanding of UX, UI and usability principles.
• Experience using modern AI tools as an integral part of design, prototyping and development workflows.
• Strong systems thinking and understanding of scalable design systems, reusable components and technical frameworks.
• Experience contributing to design systems, including knowledge of design tokens, component libraries, accessibility and established UI patterns.
• Experience working directly with codebases, GitHub and modern frontend technologies.
• Experience designing or building complex, data-dense B2B SaaS, enterprise or workflow-driven products.
• Experience working in a startup or scaleup environment with evolving priorities, lean teams and a focus on execution speed.
• Strong product judgment and ability to balance user needs, business requirements and technical constraints.
• Curious, adaptable mindset and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and new ways of working.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, tax technology, compliance or other complex, regulated industries.
• Exposure to both early-stage startups and larger, established software organisations.
