Senior Manager, TSG Product Management (AI)

Location: Boston or Chicago, United States; hybrid work with in-office presence required at least 1 day per week.

Annual salary: $172,000–$206,500 in Boston or $164,500–$197,500 in Chicago, plus discretionary performance compensation.

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of data products end to end, including reliability, business value, adoption, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Lead initiatives from problem definition and discovery through design, delivery, launch, and adoption.
• Shape product strategy, roadmaps, priorities, backlogs, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Connect data products to knowledge discovery, research, reporting, workflow automation, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics engineering, architecture, AI, search, platform, business, and senior stakeholder teams.
• Oversee data quality, freshness, lineage, discoverability, accessibility, governance, security, privacy, testing, and service-level expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 7+ years of progressive experience.
• 7+ years of experience in data product management, product ownership, analytics, business intelligence, data strategy, or data management.
• Experience owning data products or data capabilities from discovery through adoption and continuous improvement.
• Experience with agile/Scrum development, backlogs, requirements, and delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, data quality, metadata, lineage, governance, and business intelligence concepts.
• Ability to bridge technical and business communication and influence senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience shaping requirements and leading projects amid ambiguity, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• High performance standards demonstrated through academic or professional experience.

Nice to have

• Product Owner, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, knowledge management, research, or enterprise data platforms.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, Tableau, APIs, data catalogs, and semantic models.
