Sr. Systems Manager: Planning (SAP HANA)

Location: Richmond, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $104,327.00–$156,491.00 per year.

hirify.global is building a new U.S. manufacturing operation and its supporting production-planning capabilities.

What you will do

• Lead and support system implementations, upgrades, and improvements across Production Planning, Shop Floor Planning, Materials Planning, and Import/Export.
• Represent Planning functions in global projects, translate business requirements into system solutions, and coordinate implementation readiness.
• Support the startup and ramp-up of the Virginia manufacturing site, including implementation of SAP HANA and Kinaxis.
• Strengthen planning master data, data governance, reporting, and visualization capabilities, including Power BI-based tools.
• Work with planners, Product Development, global specialists, and IT teams to improve planning efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and user capability.
• Troubleshoot complex system and data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate escalations and solutions.

Requirements

• ERP implementation or development experience supporting production planning, manufacturing, materials planning, and/or inventory control.
• Experience with data management tools, databases, system design, and data integrity.
• Experience working with technical or Product Lead teams using Agile methodology.
• Understanding of manufacturing planning processes, including material flow, inventory control, capacity, and constraint management.
• Experience implementing, improving, or supporting systems and tools used in production planning or inventory-management environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot system and data issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to collaborate across business and technical functions with local and global stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build system capability and share technical knowledge with business users.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP HANA in a manufacturing, production planning, inventory, or supply-chain environment.
• Experience with Kinaxis or another Advanced Planning System.
• Experience in CPG or complex manufacturing, including material flow, production planning, inventory control, and constraint management.
• Experience implementing SAP, JDA, Oracle, or comparable ERP platforms.
• Proficiency with Power BI or comparable digital visualization and reporting tools.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives involving business processes, systems, or data.
• CPIM, CSCP, or comparable supply-chain certification.
