TL;DR

Lead Music Royalties & Cash Forecast Partner (Accounting/Music Streaming): Managing invoicing, cash forecasting, accounting close, internal controls, and withholding tax filings for an international music streaming platform with an accent on financial accuracy, cash visibility, and process automation. Focus on consolidating multi-stakeholder forecasts, explaining variance and landing risks, improving accounting data quality, and coordinating a trainee.

Location: Paris, France; position based in Paris and not open to discussion. Hybrid remote work policy.

What you will do

Own the end-to-end invoicing process, including accounting preparation, validation, and payment follow-up.
Manage and consolidate cash forecasts, improve dashboards, and analyze variances and landing risks.
Perform and coordinate accounting closing activities, including entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and historical data cleanup.
Develop and operate internal controls, maintain the risk and control matrix, document evidence, and follow up action plans.
Improve and automate working files and recurring processes while coordinating the day-to-day work and development of a trainee.
Prepare and file quarterly WHT returns and coordinate the collection and validation of supporting certificates.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations, including invoicing, cash management, and month-end closing in an international environment.
Strong understanding of accounting entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, data quality, and internal control principles.
Experience building or consolidating cash forecasts, explaining variances, and coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills and a strong interest in process improvement and automation.
Fluent English required, with clear written and verbal communication.
Ability to coordinate and coach a trainee or junior contributor.

Nice to have

Experience with Sage 1000 ERP.
Experience with BI tools, Make, or Dust.
