Security Product Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in Amsterdam, Netherlands; up to 20 days per year working from abroad in the home country. This role does not come with relocation assistance.

What you will do

• Drive the vision, roadmap, backlog, prioritisation, and end-to-end delivery of internal Enterprise Security products and capabilities.
• Focus on vulnerability management, including visibility, risk-based prioritisation, remediation automation, reporting, and vulnerability-management workflows.
• Research user needs and feedback, formulate hypotheses, validate solutions, and translate business and technical objectives into product plans.
• Work with Engineering, Product, Security, platform, and developer teams to deliver reliable, scalable, secure, maintainable, and usable solutions.
• Define metrics and KPIs, analyse data, communicate risks and decisions, and use evidence to improve products throughout their lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for automation, orchestration, continuous improvement, and more effective security-risk management.

Requirements

• Broad job knowledge equivalent to 3–5 years, plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a specialised diploma or relevant certifications.
• Experience in product management, technical product management, or a related role, with a track record of delivering products or technology capabilities.
• Experience working with technical teams and translating user or business needs into product direction and priorities.
• Strong skills in discovery, prioritisation, roadmap development, delivery, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Good understanding of security principles and technology risk, with experience in vulnerability management, infrastructure security, application security, security operations, or a related area.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and make them accessible to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Customer-focused and outcome-oriented approach to product management.
