DevOps Engineer (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation for hundreds of microservices using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Operate hybrid-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on-premises data centers, including networking, identity, storage, connectivity, and capacity management.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, container registries, service meshes, ingress controllers, and supporting middleware.
• Develop observability, SLO, SLI, error-budget, incident-response, disaster-recovery, and chaos-engineering practices.
• Implement pipeline security controls, manage secrets and certificates, and support SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and other compliance audits.
• Partner with Software Engineering, QE, Architecture, and Information Security; document runbooks and infrastructure standards; participate in on-call and emergency support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS, Azure, or on-premises data centers, with interest in developing depth across hybrid environments.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms, specifically Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions or comparable platforms, including pipeline-as-code.
• Working experience with Infrastructure-as-Code; Terraform is preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes, including EKS, AKS, or self-managed clusters, and container build and registry workflows using Docker, ACR, ECR, or Harbor.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting with one or more of Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review practices.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, or CloudWatch.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents, including outside standard hours when needed.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in mobility, transportation, tolling, parking, or other regulated, high-volume transaction-processing environments.
• Exposure to SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP compliance regimes.
• Experience with service mesh, API gateways, zero-trust networking, FinOps, cloud cost management, or workload migrations between on-premises and cloud environments or between cloud providers.
• Relevant AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.
• Familiarity with data and AI/ML platform operations, including model registries, feature stores, or ML pipelines.
