MRP Controller (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage an assigned component portfolio and respond to exception messages generated by MRP runs.
• Maintain ERP planning parameters and compliance with company policies and standard processes.
• Monitor supplier and material delivery schedules, taking action to maintain schedule adherence and material availability.
• Manage inventory, including materials held at external locations, and support inventory audits.
• Work with Capacity Owners, Buyers, Parts Controllers, Master Schedulers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve shortages and supply issues.
• Coordinate supply chain activities for new part introductions and escalate unresolved issues when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in material planning, production planning, supply chain, procurement, logistics, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience using SAP or another ERP/MRP system, including planning data, schedules, and material requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing operational environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and persistence in following issues through to resolution and escalating appropriately.
• Strong computer skills and a structured approach to maintaining accurate system and inventory information.
