Software Developer (Vue)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada; candidates must be authorized to work in one of these countries and set up for remote work.

Base salary: USD 65,000–85,000 per year in the United States or CAD 95,000–110,000 per year in Canada, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Build front-end and back-end features for NG and SMRTR TRAC using Vue, TypeScript, Node.js, and Scala/JVM.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas and queries, with attention to performance; work with some MongoDB.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with ERP systems including SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VAI, and NCR.
• Contribute to AI document capture for classification and data extraction, as well as the print-to-NG driver.
• Turn requirements from Professional Services, Sales, and customers into software, estimate tasks, and deliver against agreed dates.
• Support go-lives, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain tested, reviewed, secure code with documentation and release notes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Production experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• PostgreSQL experience including schema design, SQL, and query performance.
• JVM experience, preferably Scala.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code review, and automated testing.
• Clear communication with colleagues and, when needed, customers.
• Authorization to work in the United States or Canada and readiness for remote work.

Nice to have

• MongoDB.
• Android or Xamarin.
• ERP integration experience with systems such as SYSPRO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, VAI, or NCR.
• Document management, OCR, or AI document capture experience.
• Experience with manufacturing, distribution, or food and beverage software.
