Fullstack Developer (Vue)

Location: Fully distributed remote company; not hiring in California or the New York metro area.

Salary: $122,000–$160,000 USD base pay per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Research, design, develop, secure, and maintain solutions supporting communication with more than 2 million deployed agents.
• Extend event-driven services and endpoint software features across the Automox platform.
• Test, performance-tune, refactor, automate, and improve product usability.
• Evaluate technical options, make recommendations, and incorporate feedback through iteration.
• Use quality-first and data-driven practices before changes reach production.
• Collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers, and Technical Support while owning services through their operational lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and monitoring applications in a high-availability SaaS environment.
• Professional experience shipping frontend features with TypeScript and a modern JavaScript framework, with the ability to own the UI portion of backend features.
• Experience building production applications in AWS cloud environments with strong security practices.
• Experience scaling microservice architectures and large-scale event ingestion platforms, including familiarity with WebSockets, real-time messaging systems such as Kafka or MQTT, non-relational databases such as DynamoDB, and DevOps.
• Programming experience in Go or Java is preferred, while polyglot developers with experience across multiple languages are considered.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a tightly connected remote, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to pass federal, state, and county background checks and complete a local in-person verification.

Nice to have

• Experience building desktop or cross-platform applications.
• Experience with endpoint software for macOS, Windows, or Linux, including agents, installers, or system services.
• Experience writing automated end-to-end tests with Python, Playwright, or similar tools.
