Business Analyst (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Onboard clients by gathering requirements from clients and vendors and completing production setup.
• Build and deploy trade templates and jobs, including coding them to match specification files.
• Establish and maintain vendor connectivity through SFTP/FTP, including updating expired keys and passwords.
• Test trading scenarios against current trading activity.
• Support existing clients by updating trade files and reconciliations and implementing additional logic.
• Review and prioritize software problems, advocate for efficient fixes, and provide training and support to traders and customer support teams.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree and at least 2+ years of related experience are required.
• Related experience in the financial-services industry is preferred.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with FTP/SFTP, transport protocols, and PGP encryption.
• Experience with SQL, C#, and VBA.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and internal service teams in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working with broker/dealers, clients, and vendors.
• Understanding of equities, listed derivatives, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income.
