Analyst, Global Compliance Regulatory Change (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review internal and external regulatory change notifications from global regulators, determine applicability, rationalize requirements, and assign next steps.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, facilitate information flow, document rationale, and manage the regulatory impact assessment process.
• Oversee assignments, reviews, reporting, and due diligence for the global impact assessment process.
• Maintain project tracking for Compliance governance committee reporting, identify issues, and escalate them when required.
• Maintain the internal regulatory inventory and support the Compliance Management application, including training materials and procedural or system improvements.
• Analyze data, support special projects, implement process efficiencies, and solve complex problems with limited precedent.

Requirements

• College or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience required.
• 3–5 years of related experience required.
• Familiarity with law and regulation hierarchy and structure, as well as global regulators.
• Ability to manage large amounts of data and oversee a regulatory inventory and related processes.
• Experience with Excel, database, and reporting applications.
• Analytical and communication skills to analyze and summarize information.
• Flexibility, organizational skills, process-efficiency comprehension, collaboration, and advanced attention to detail.
• Advanced or specialized skills across a range of processes, procedures, and systems, with the ability to coordinate effectively with related teams and communicate complex information clearly.
