Senior Business Analyst (ServiceNow)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, use cases, scenarios, and other elicitation methods.
• Write user stories, epics, releases, product features, process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts.
• Collaborate with product managers, technical teams, project teams, clients, and stakeholders to define product scope, vision, roadmap, priorities, estimates, and release plans.
• Manage and track product backlog items and requirements throughout the project lifecycle, supporting sprint and release objectives.
• Review requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, comprehensibility, standards conformity, and testability; conduct peer reviews and use INVEST for effort estimation.
• Support application operations, post-go-live maintenance, documentation, incident resolution, status reporting, root cause analysis, and deployment activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of solid experience in business analysis.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and documenting business processes.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing IT applications.
• Proven experience in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
• Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
• Proven experience in business analysis on ServiceNow products.
• Experience using ServiceNow as an application, with high-level relevant knowledge of how it is used across different business and technical domains.
• Experience participating in governance boards and committees and running workshops with similar audiences.

Nice to have

• Project management and project management software skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources.
• Product or platform governance knowledge and best practices.
• Understanding of application development and software development lifecycle concepts.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, and testing or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of Citizen Development Programs or related initiatives.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technology products including SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and Copilot, as well as Process Mining Tools and GenAI.
• Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and Employee Center products.
