Implementation Consultant, Client Configuration (Portuguese Speaking) (Fintech)

Location: Pasay, Philippines (Manila); at least 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Provide implementation and configuration support for assigned hirify.global clients, countries, and regions.
• Manage configuration requests for new card program installations, processor conversions, and updates to existing client programs.
• Review and configure requests for completeness and accuracy, identify discrepancies, meet deadlines, and adhere to audit and billing requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders, explain processing implications, and represent customer operational requirements within hirify.global.
• Resolve production and testing configuration incidents, support emergency and out-of-hours changes according to a rota, and coordinate internal resources.
• Lead initiatives, review colleagues’ implementation changes, improve processes, and deliver training to internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of equivalent experience in customer support within software, financial, or information services.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with standard Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong time management, organization, planning, prioritization, multitasking, and customer-expectation management skills.
• Strong expertise in the relevant configuration responsibilities and tools, or the ability to quickly absorb and apply technical knowledge.
• Ability to explain technical terms and processes simply, follow complex procedures, adapt to change, train and mentor others, and remain calm in high-stress situations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Effective communication in English and Portuguese is required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting and leading configuration activities for issuer and acquirer programs across a global payments network.
• Experience with complex configuration updates that optimize processing, enable new products and services, and protect client and cardholder experience.
