System Software Engineer - Distributed Computing (Semiconductor)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite role.

Base pay: $114,800–$195,200 annually.

What you will do

• Develop software supporting high-throughput patterned wafer inspection systems.
• Apply programming expertise and software design patterns to system software development.
• Work with web and thick-client technologies and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of related software architectures.
• Apply data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills to complex engineering challenges.
• Learn new skills independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 0 years of related work experience, or bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of C#, C++, or Java.
• Technical expertise in Java, C#, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Knowledge of open-source software and varied web and thick-client technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and motivation to learn independently.
