Software Engineer I (SDE/NOC)

Location: Las Vegas, NV, USA. Primarily office-based, with customer-site and casino travel as needed; occasional travel is approximately 10%.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze software requirements and participate in designing software systems within time and cost constraints.
• Develop software features, tools, integrations, and supporting documentation for game and platform development.
• Review code, follow test procedures, and troubleshoot and fix issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Deploy software, set up servers, respond to service interruptions, and build tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Support system, network, and game installations at customer sites and remotely, including procedures and release documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, mathematicians, designers, artists, customers, and other stakeholders while supporting casino operations and product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a higher degree, or equivalent education and experience, is required.
• Proficiency in C, C++, data structures, and algorithms.
• Intermediate or higher-level knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products.
• Professional and efficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to obtain and retain gaming licensure.
• Ability to work full time for 40 or more hours per week and remain flexible for overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work primarily in an office cubicle environment for extended periods and handle a fast-paced, high-stress workload.
• Ability to travel to customers, installations, casinos, and trade shows as required and tolerate varying noise, temperature, illumination, vibration, crowds, air quality, and secondhand smoke.
• Ability to validate AI-generated recommendations, exercise independent technical judgment, and maintain ownership of final solutions.
