Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Salary: $90,000.00–$180,000.00/year, plus annual or quarterly performance incentives.

What you will do

• Own feature, service, API, user-interface, and ML-model component delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support.
• Develop clean, reliable software and automation using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++ as applicable.
• Integrate AI agents and ML components through internal and external APIs and use GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems; participate in design reviews and apply appropriate architectural patterns.
• Define technical requirements and success metrics with stakeholders while collaborating across product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
• Monitor performance, logs, alerts, quality, security, uptime, and delivery milestones through CI/CD, observability, and program reporting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related area and 1 year of software engineering experience; OR a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a listed field and 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience coding in object-oriented languages such as Java and JavaScript.
• Experience designing application architecture, features, and technical solutions for cross-platform applications.
• Experience developing frameworks, features, and REST APIs with Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, and/or JavaScript libraries such as React or Angular.
• Experience with JavaScript unit testing using Jest and performance testing of applications, features, and/or APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native platforms, microservices architecture, and container orchestration.
• Experience managing MySQL and MongoDB databases, including schema, view, and table design and CRUD operations with SQL queries.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins; managing source code with Git; and using Docker and Kubernetes to containerize, orchestrate, deploy, and scale application components.
• Experience creating Splunk dashboards, triaging logs and alerts, configuring SonarQube, documenting REST APIs with Swagger and architecture diagrams in Confluence, managing ServiceNow records, and implementing security with SSO, JWT, and OAuth.
