Delivery Manager with German (Banking)

Location: Remote within Romania.

What you will do

• Develop project plans, establish a shared vision, and align delivery with project objectives.
• Manage resources and workload assignments in line with delivery requirements and projected financial performance.
• Monitor estimates, schedules, dependencies, risks, blockers, and deviations to maintain project reliability.
• Propose strategic adjustments, process improvements, cost optimization, and time-saving measures while securing customer sign-off on critical milestones.
• Maintain transparent collaboration with delivery teams, clients, and client partners.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor cross-functional delivery teams while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience coordinating complex IT projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge and practical application of project management methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate alternatives, anticipated outcomes, and risks to identify optimal solutions.
• Strong strategic planning, methodology adaptation, and team management skills.
• Proven experience delivering projects end-to-end within scope, budget, and timeline in dynamic environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Developers, Testers, Business Analysts, and Architects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
• Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and improve outcomes; ability to structure prompts, validate outputs, understand limitations, and own final results.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German.

Nice to have

• Solid technical background in IT systems or software development.
• PMP certification.
