Senior Oracle Cloud EPM Engineer

Location: Seattle or Austin, United States

Total cash range: $184,500–$258,000 annually, with potential pay up to $295,000 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Serve as the senior technical lead and subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management.
• Design, configure, and evolve allocation models, driver logic, calculations, metadata, and governance standards.
• Design integrations across Oracle Cloud EPCM, General Ledger, Enterprise Planning and Budgeting, and other finance platforms.
• Translate Finance requirements into scalable configurations, integrations, automations, and technical designs.
• Lead enhancements through design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational support.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Internal Controls, Audit, Tax, Treasury, and data teams while mentoring engineers and promoting consistent engineering practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including senior engineering, technical leadership, solution architecture, or platform leadership in complex finance technology environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent related professional experience.
• Deep hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Cloud EPM and Oracle EPCM applications.
• Experience with allocation models, cost-driver logic, business rules, finance data structures, and planning or forecasting processes.
• Experience integrating Oracle Cloud EPCM with Oracle Cloud General Ledger and Oracle Cloud EPB.
• Experience with Data Management, EPM Automate, REST APIs, and enterprise data integration patterns.
• Knowledge of metadata and dimension design, hierarchy governance, security models, data lineage, reconciliation, auditability, accounting principles, SOX controls, ITGCs, access controls, change management, and testing evidence.
• Ability to lead complex, ambiguous initiatives across multiple systems and stakeholder groups while influencing outcomes without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills in finance-critical environments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Finance, Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud FCCS, ARCS, TRCS, Smart View, Narrative Reporting, or related Finance reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Calculation Manager, scripting, automation, and advanced Oracle Cloud EPM capabilities.
• Experience working in Agile or structured delivery environments.
• Experience mentoring engineers, analysts, and project team members.
