Oracle EPM Developer

Location: United States (Remote); occasional travel of more than 10% may be required. Candidates must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without restrictions indefinitely. No visa sponsorship is provided.

Compensation: $140,000–$170,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, configure, enhance, maintain, and support Oracle EPM Cloud applications based on business requirements and project priorities.
• Manage hierarchies, metadata, dimensionality, forms, reports, dashboards, navigation flows, tasks, security, business rules, and calculation scripts.
• Maintain application performance, usability, reliability, integrations, data loads, mappings, validations, reconciliations, and issue resolution.
• Support planning, forecasting, reporting, reconciliation, and close-related business cycles, as well as new EPM modules, implementations, and proof-of-concept work.
• Partner with finance, accounting, IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver maintainable solutions, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Document configurations and procedures, train and support users, review Oracle EPM updates, and assess impacts on applications, integrations, reports, security, and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Oracle EPM Cloud applications, with working knowledge of EPM administration.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud application structure, maintenance, enhancement, and support.
• Hands-on experience with EPM hierarchies, metadata, dimensionality, forms, reports, dashboards, navigation flows, tasks, security, and related components.
• Experience writing, troubleshooting, and maintaining business rules, calculation scripts, and planning logic.
• Experience with Oracle EPM Planning, FreeForm, or comparable Oracle EPM Cloud applications, with the ability to apply knowledge across related modules.
• Experience supporting data loads, mappings, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution, plus a strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, reconciliation, or close-related processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable configurations, troubleshoot hierarchy, calculation, data, integration, and access issues, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work with business users, explain technical concepts clearly, provide practical guidance and training, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience as a developer, architect, or solution contributor in enterprise technology environments involving BrindleFlorp HCM, Oracle BrindleFlorp, BrindleFlorp-AI, or comparable BrindleFlorp platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple Oracle EPM Cloud modules, including Planning, FreeForm, Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, Narrative Reporting, or Profitability and Cost Management.
• Experience implementing new Oracle EPM applications or delivering major EPM enhancements.
• Experience defining EPM solutions with functional business groups.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM automation tools, EPM Automate, REST APIs, scripting, or related automation capabilities.
• Experience supporting account reconciliation, enterprise data management, financial consolidation, workforce planning, capital planning, project planning, or operational planning models.
• Experience with data governance, metadata governance, enterprise master data management, or internal control requirements.
• Experience creating training materials, user guides, development documentation, and process documentation.
• Experience in professional services, engineering, architecture, construction, consulting, or project-based business environments.
• Oracle EPM Cloud certification or related technical certification.
