Software Developer Intern - Summer 2027 (Java)

Location: On-site at the hirify.global office on Skolgatan in Umeå, Sweden; students from Umeå University are prioritized.

What you will do

• Support the hirify.global Risk Platform team with projects and ongoing initiatives.
• Contribute to real products across phases of the software life cycle.
• Develop experience with cloud-native software, open-source technologies, and high-throughput, highly resilient systems.
• Collaborate with teammates across functions and regions and contribute ideas to problem-solving.
• Participate in learning sessions, mentorship, and the global internship community.

Requirements

• Currently studying Computing Science, Engineering Physics, or a similar program and graduating in 2028.
• Passion for programming; Java is the primary language used.
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and contribute in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Relevant work experience alongside studies.
• Curiosity about and interest in capital markets and financial technology.
