Account Executive (SaaS)

What you will do

• Assess accounts and develop strategies to identify and engage customers.
• Use a solution-oriented approach to create customer value and identify high-value use cases.
• Prospect for new opportunities while increasing value within existing accounts.
• Coordinate with internal and ecosystem teams to maximize customer and business impact.
• Build value throughout engagements and guide negotiations through to close.
• Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark and deliver technical and business results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions are essential.
• Sales experience in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS.
• Experience working with C-level executives.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex cloud technologies and big data concepts.
• Proven success in opening new accounts and growing existing accounts.
• Experience exceeding sales targets.
• Previous experience in an early-stage company and ability to succeed in a fast-growing organization.
