Senior Software Engineer (Go/Kubernetes)

Salary: Base salary $196K–$235K per year

What you will do

• Develop containerized microservices for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events, network telemetry, and cloud data.
• Build capabilities that provide customers with real-time insights, visibility, security recommendations, and cloud risk reduction.
• Design services, defend architecture decisions, implement critical features, and own the full software development lifecycle through deployment and customer usage.
• Own operational reliability, code quality, developer testing, and functional and integration testing for robust products.
• Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and understand customer problems.
• Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree.
• 8+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
• Professional experience with Go and SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
• Extensive API- or programming-level experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience delivering containerized services; the platform is Kubernetes-based.
• General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Passion for software development, continuous learning, technological trends, and teamwork.
• Applicants must be able to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls because the position involves access to controlled software and technology.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with networking and security controls.
• Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
