Backend Developer (Go)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Go.
• Build cloud-native applications, Kubernetes controllers, and automation tools.
• Develop gRPC and REST APIs integrated with databases and messaging systems.
• Optimize application performance, concurrency, and resource utilization.
• Implement testing, monitoring, logging, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Go software engineering experience; the role requires an experienced developer.
• Strong experience with Go, Kubernetes, gRPC/REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka or NATS, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes Operators, eBPF, service mesh, or security-focused Go projects.
• Open-source contributions or experience with WASM/TinyGo.
