Associate Director, Commercial Forecasting (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: Princeton, NJ, United States (Hybrid)

Base salary: $119,000–$161,000 per year, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term incentive programs.

What you will do

• Own long-range forecasting models for in-line products across the rare disease portfolio.
• Analyze patient, prescriber, pharmacy, and distributor data with the Strategic Growth and Analytics team to refine forecasting assumptions.
• Align forecasts and insights with Commercial, Strategic Growth and Analytics, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Finance stakeholders.
• Develop scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support investment decisions and risk management.
• Assess market dynamics and inform initiatives across sales, marketing, patient support, and access functions.
• Create clear visualizations and presentations and contribute to business development evaluations and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of forecasting experience within a commercial-stage pharmaceutical company.
• Hands-on experience with commercial pharmaceutical data and forecasting complex products, including refining forecasts over time.
• Experience with products that have multiple indications for a single asset is preferred.
• Strong analytical reasoning, intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt under pressure, and prioritize deadlines.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to interact with and present to functions and organizational levels verbally and in writing.
• Polished written communication and presentation skills, especially with data visualizations and PowerPoint.
• Ability to distill complex information into compelling, actionable deliverables that inform decision-making.
