Associate Director Financial Planning & Analysis (Animal Health)

Location: Hybrid in Rahway, New Jersey, United States; travel requirements are 10%. No relocation is offered. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $129,000–$203,100 annually, plus potential annual bonus and long-term incentive.

What you will do

• Coordinate consolidation, analysis, and reporting of total GMTS organizational spend across Atlas and non-Atlas entities.
• Prepare monthly financial insights, variance analyses, management reports, and key business drivers for leadership.
• Support monthly close, controllership activities, financial reporting, accounting issue resolution, and internal control compliance.
• Coordinate planning and forecasting cycles, including calendars, templates, system submissions, forecast consolidation, and leadership review materials.
• Develop and improve financial reporting, analytics, forecasting processes, planning tools, and team efficiencies.
• Partner with Animal Health COE Finance, local finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders on reporting and special finance initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum B.A./B.S. degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong accuracy, quality, organization, attention to detail, innovation, and continuous improvement mindset.
• Highly motivated with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate financial analytics and build support for recommendations.
• Strategic and innovative thinking, customer focus, collaboration, and ability to build professional relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and planning systems and processes, including SAP, FSA, BPC BRIDGES, and Thinkcell.

Nice to have

• M.B.A. and/or C.P.A.
• Familiarity with internal planning and reporting processes and systems.
