Partner, Retail Banking & Payments (Fintech)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; hybrid workplace with management expected in the office at least three days per week.

Salary: Base salary of $300,000–$350,000 per year, plus uncapped personal sales and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Build hirify.global’s U.S. retail banking and payments practice and expand its North American footprint.
• Lead and grow strategic financial-services accounts, including at least two key client accounts.
• Originate and oversee complex strategy and transformation engagements from end to end.
• Advise senior executives on bank transformation, digital strategy, regulatory change, and operating model design.
• Define offerings and points of view, develop the client pipeline, and contribute to go-to-market strategy and firm governance.
• Recruit, coach, and develop Managers and above while collaborating across international hubs and service lines.

Requirements

• Based in Charlotte, with an active senior-level financial-services network across U.S. global, regional, and community banks, credit unions, and related providers.
• 15+ years of consulting experience, including leadership in digital transformation, operating model design, or regulatory advisory.
• Proven success winning and delivering multimillion-dollar consulting engagements.
• Executive presence and ability to influence C-level clients.
• Deep expertise in retail banking and payments, including areas such as deposits, consumer lending, cards, digital banking, real-time payments, or merchant and commercial payments.
• Established relationships with senior executives responsible for retail and consumer banking, payments, cards, digital, or product P&Ls.
• Working command of consumer protection and payments regulation, including Regulation E, UDAAP, Nacha rules, FedNow, RTP, and ISO 20022.
• Recognized market voice with thought leadership, speaking, or industry engagement experience.
• Ability to build a practice from a small base without an inherited book of business.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
