What you will do

• Validate technical specifications and process telecom orders, change orders, disconnections, and related documentation.
• Place orders for Broadband, T1, EOC, FastE, and GigE circuits through multiple carrier systems.
• Coordinate service delivery, installations, activations, and turn-up activities with carriers and project coordinators.
• Track delivery milestones, obtain DLR and FOC, and provide daily updates to project coordinators.
• Analyze and resolve order issues, escalate problems to carriers, and work with carrier project managers on construction and delayed delivery cases.
• Serve as the first point of contact for carrier provisioning issues and participate in weekly carrier conference calls.

Requirements

• Working understanding of telecommunications services and concepts, including POTS, T1, PRI, VoIP, and SIP.
• Hands-on skills with business application software, including Microsoft Office, internet browsers, and document scanning.
• Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with peers, customers, and management.
• Documentation, reporting, knowledge-transfer, research, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks and a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment, and remain professional under stress.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and off-hours when required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including sitting, standing, walking, lifting over 20 pounds overhead, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, crawling, and keyboarding.
• Ability to read effectively from a computer screen, sampling device, or paper copy.
