Sr. Accountant, Corporate Accounting

Location: Hybrid in New York, United States; requires working from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD 80,000–95,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, intercompany processing, reporting, and corporate data requests.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany recharges, and related analysis.
• Coordinate with domestic and international operating companies, corporate controllership teams, and the global finance service provider.
• Assist with UK annual statutory accounts and external audit requests.
• Support process redesign, application implementations, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of general accounting activities and GAAP reporting.
• CPA qualification or progress toward CPA qualification.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with peers and upper management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, research ad hoc accounting issues, and maintain acute attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience working with AI; Copilot experience is preferred.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Knowledge of SAP/S4 and BlackLine functionality.
• Experience in a large multinational corporation with transfer pricing requirements.
