Mainframe Panvalet and ChangeMan Specialist

Location: Fully remote, with the role located in Hortolandia, São Paulo, Brazil.

What you will do

• Manage Panvalet libraries containing source code, JCL, macros, and copybooks.
• Administer ChangeMan ZMF packages across DEV, TEST, QA, and PROD environments.
• Perform impact analysis, troubleshoot promotion failures, and maintain audit compliance.
• Automate software configuration management tasks using REXX, CLIST, and JCL scripting.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and governance teams throughout the software change lifecycle.
• Document SCM processes and train teams on consistent practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in similar roles within mainframe environments.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and datasets including PS, PDS, and VSAM.
• Strong JCL experience for batch jobs and utilities, with familiarity with COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, and Easytrieve.
• Experience with scheduling tools including Control-M and CA-7.
• Expertise managing CA Panvalet libraries, version control, member management, and PAN# utilities.
• Hands-on experience with Serena ChangeMan ZMF package lifecycle management, impact analysis, audit compliance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with REXX and CLIST scripting, JCL automation, and dataset utilities including SORT, IDCAMS, IEBGENER, and IEBCOPY.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document and train others on SCM practices.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• ITIL, Six Sigma, or PMP certification.
• Experience in staff augmentation or application services projects.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
