CyberLife Developer (Mainframe)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; home-based remote position.

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, and modernize complex CyberLife mainframe software components.
• Participate in software design, requirements definition, code reviews, and technology adoption.
• Provide technical expertise, research solutions, and resolve complex technical challenges.
• troubleshoot production issues and support Production/Test Batch Cycle resolution during on-call coverage.
• Collaborate with operations, support teams, and other project members, while mentoring junior developers.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a CyberLife Mainframe Developer; CyberLife experience is mandatory.
• Exceptional software development and modernization skills.
• Experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DFSORT, and IBM-supplied utilities.
• Experience in the US Life & Annuity Insurance domain.
• Experience supporting Production/Test Batch Cycle and resolving outstanding problems or issues during on-call coverage.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications or training.
