Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure, Terraform)

Location: Hybrid in Wrocław, Poland; three days per week from the client's office are mandatory, and candidates must live in or within commuting distance of Wrocław.

Rate: 125–150 PLN/h on a B2B basis, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support migration to cloud environments and secure operations across Azure and on-premises infrastructure.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Coordinate complex releases across multiple teams.
• Improve observability, reliability, monitoring, incident response, and production operations.

Requirements

• Around 10 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code skills, with strong Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or AKS, and Helm.
• Strong Linux, scripting, networking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline design, and deployment automation.
• Experience with monitoring, incident response, secrets management, secure engineering, and coordinating complex releases across multiple teams.
• Strong ownership and communication skills; fluent English.
• Polish or EU citizenship, or permanent residence or a work permit valid for at least 12 months.

Nice to have

• GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Splunk, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Java.

Hiring process

• One interview with the IT services partner, followed by one to three interviews with the bank.
• Technical tasks are completed live; the candidate must have a tested environment ready, and AI tools, coding assistants, and code generators are not permitted during interviews.
• Selection includes an external HireRight background check covering identity, right to work, education, and employment history.
