CloudTech Client #1 | Senior DevOps Engineer - MSP (AWS)

What you will do

• Design and implement tailored cloud architectures based on customer needs.
• Manage multiple customer environments according to industry best practices and act as a technical advisor aligned with customer business goals.
• Deploy advanced cloud services and automation solutions.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
• Maintain customer feedback loops and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Design, configure, and maintain large-scale monitoring and logging solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS or GCP, plus at least 3 years of professional IT experience.
• Strong Linux and networking background and proven experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience with security products such as firewalls, web gateways, and proxies.
• Strong experience with container technologies including Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Swarm, or Docker.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and strong foundations in Git and GitFlow.
• Proficiency in scripting with at least two of Python, Java, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or CodePipeline.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or Serverless Framework.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures, creative troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and domains.

Nice to have

• Experience with system monitoring platforms such as Datadog or Prometheus and centralized logging platforms such as ELK or OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with GitOps methodologies including ArgoCD or Flux.
• Strong information security orientation and experience managing production-grade environments.
• AWS certifications at Associate, Professional, or Specialty level.
• Knowledge of AWS security tools and best practices, including Security Hub, AWS Config, WAF, or Shield.
• Familiarity with AWS Landing Zone and multi-account strategy.
• CKA or CKAD certification.
• Eligibility for or possession of a security clearance.
