Senior Software Engineer – Agent Developer Platform (MCP)

What you will do

• Design and build the agent-facing developer platform, including MCP servers, tools, skills, and supporting APIs.
• Build APIs that expose trading and account capabilities to applications and agents.
• Evolve the platform as MCP, connector, plugin, and skill standards change, translating changes into application architecture.
• Define shared platform components that help developers and partners build applications faster.
• Own production reliability and quality, while leading through architecture, coding, design reviews, and mentorship.
• Partner with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Platform Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems used by other developers.
• Shipped a developer-facing API, SDK, or platform as a primary contributor.
• Experience building to MCP or to connector, plugin, or skill standards in production, with sufficient understanding of stateless and stateful MCP behavior.
• Strong API design skills covering schemas, compatibility, and dependable responses.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and willingness to work primarily in Go.
• Strong architectural judgment and a record of shipping while requirements are still being defined.
• Clear communication with engineering, product, compliance, and risk partners.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping developer-facing tools, SDKs, or MCP servers.
• Experience building agents with a framework such as LangChain.
• Experience or understanding of financial markets.
• Production experience with Go.
