Site Lead (IT)

Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas, United States. The role supports a new precision manufacturing facility developed with Lockheed.

What you will do

• Own on-site IT support for facility employees, manufacturing technicians, production staff, and visiting employees.
• Manage device lifecycles, endpoints, peripherals, asset inventory, Jira Service Management tickets, and on-call escalations.
• Maintain local networks and infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points, escalating issues to central teams.
• Support the IT buildout during facility construction by coordinating with facilities, construction, electrical, and low-voltage vendors.
• Enforce EDR, MDM, and IAM tooling; coordinate incident response, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reviews.
• Work with Lockheed IT, local vendors, ISPs, and central IT teams while providing manufacturing-floor feedback to improve hirify.global’s Opus AI platform.

Requirements

• High independence, accountability, ownership, self-motivation, and proactive issue resolution without a local IT manager.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewall administration, and Wi-Fi.
• Endpoint management experience with Intune, Mosyle, or FleetDM.
• Familiarity with Okta for identity and access management.
• Ability to operate as a remote extension of a distributed central IT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, and helpdesk team.
• U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations is required for ITAR compliance.
• Experience working with military departments or federal agencies.

• CMMC, ITAR, and CUI handling experience.

• Ability to maintain professionalism while working on a customer site.
