General Manager, Greater Minneapolis (Manufacturing)

Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota; must be in the Minneapolis office every day and visit local businesses each week for less than 25% of working time. Remote candidates will not be considered. The future office may be located in Eden Prairie, Franklin, or Shakopee.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations and oversee P&L for the Greater Minneapolis market.
• Drive revenue growth, business development, market entry, marketing initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
• Build target lists, cultivate business relationships, manage CRM processes, and recruit business users.
• Recruit, hire, coach, and develop the local team as the market grows.
• Oversee operational issues, ensure effective resolution, and collaborate with other market leaders on go-to-market strategies.
• Provide product-market-fit feedback to product management and technology development and support public events, interviews, and workshops.

Requirements

• Direct experience working in or advising logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
• Leadership experience with teams, cross-functional projects, or organizations, including selecting, hiring, coaching, and capacity planning.
• Demonstrated upward progression within the same company and active responsibility for cross-functional teams, projects, or organizations.
• At least 5 years of post-university workforce experience; 8 years is ideal.
• Results-oriented track record with specific examples of outperforming or exceeding goals.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to use direct, plain language.
• Ability to break down complex problems using data and strong attention to detail.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to work in the Minneapolis office every day and visit local businesses each week. Must not have worked at or studied processes of a FAANGS or other Silicon Valley-based company.

• Entrepreneurial experience, site startup experience, or independent leadership of a project, group, or organization.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training or certification.
