Supply Chain Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Montreal, Canada.

hirify.global develops Pulsar, a low-Earth-orbit satellite infrastructure platform providing real-time, centimeter-level positioning and navigational intelligence.

What you will do

• Establish and lead the supply chain function at the Montreal R&D and subsystem component manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate supply chain strategy, processes, policies, performance measures, and production flow with the California satellite manufacturing facility.
• Own procurement, inventory, demand and materials planning, warehousing, logistics, supplier activities, and supplier audits.
• Create standard operating procedures, implement ERP and related tools, and improve reporting, controls, visibility, cost, quality, inventory, and delivery performance.
• Develop supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and build a resilient, diversified sourcing strategy for critical components.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, finance, production, suppliers, carriers, and leadership to support R&D, prototyping, production readiness, budgeting, and cost control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management, logistics, operations, or a related area.
• Fluency in English and French, spoken and written, for communication with employees, suppliers, customers, and partners in Quebec and elsewhere in Canada.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Experience managing multiple supply chain activities, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
• Familiarity with ERP, PLM/PDM, configuration management, and QMS; MES knowledge is an asset.
• Experience developing or improving supply chain processes, systems, reporting, and controls.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, materials planning, warehousing, logistics, and supplier management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work strategically and hands-on, independently, and in an ambiguous, growing environment.
• Successful candidates must obtain and hold reliability-status security clearance and pass assessment for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and ITAR.

• U.S. Person status under applicable U.S. regulations.
• Experience with MES.
