Senior Specialist, Application Developer (PLM)

Location: Melbourne, Florida or remote; Tallahassee, Florida is also listed as a role location. Remote salary ranges apply to specified U.S. states and metropolitan areas.

Salary: $106,500–$197,500 or $92,500–$171,500 annually, depending on geographic location.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain custom integrations for PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter and PTC Windchill using APIs, middleware, and scripting.
• Implement workflows, data transformations, and connectors supporting digital thread and model-based engineering initiatives.
• Build and maintain integrations between PLM, ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure data consistency, security, compliance, performance, and scalability across integrated platforms.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, minimize downtime, and contribute to code reviews and integration-development best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and recommend automation improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related experience; 10 years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least 6 years of experience in application development and system integration.
• Ability to work with application programming interfaces, middleware, scripting, workflows, data transformations, and enterprise-system integrations.
• Applicants may need to obtain a security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Nice to have

• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ESB, or microservices.
• Understanding of digital thread, MBSE, data modeling, configuration management, and PLM workflows.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex integration projects, with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Magic Xpi or similar integration toolsets, TDD, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca for functional test automation and NeoLoad for performance and load testing.
