Senior HubSpot Developer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support enterprise websites and digital experiences within HubSpot CMS.
• Build reusable HubSpot themes, templates, modules, components, and custom functionality.
• Develop and support HubSpot integrations with enterprise applications using APIs and established integration patterns.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, pair programming, and engineering best practices.
• Partner with architects, product owners, marketing teams, business analysts, designers, and developers to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
• Improve code quality, performance, accessibility, scalability, security, maintainability, development workflows, and technical-debt management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience focused on web applications, CMS platforms, or digital experiences.
• 3+ years of experience developing solutions within HubSpot CMS Hub or comparable enterprise CMS and web platform technologies.
• Experience designing and delivering complex web platform implementations, integrations, enhancements, or modernization initiatives.
• Experience building modern web solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, and contemporary frontend frameworks.
• Experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs and web service integrations.

Nice to have

• HubSpot CMS Hub development experience with custom themes, templates, modules, HubL, and HubDB, plus HubSpot CMS Hub certifications.
• Experience supporting multi-site, multilingual, or global web platforms; WordPress development and architecture; website migration or digital modernization.
• Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks, Microsoft Azure, cloud-based applications, or modern web application architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, application monitoring, production support, and web performance, accessibility, security, and technical-debt improvements.
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Understanding of insurance business processes and industry-specific challenges.
