Senior Software Developer - Web (AI)

Location: On-site at 2200 S. Lakeside Drive, Waukegan, Illinois, United States. All positions are on-site.

Salary: $110,000–$148,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and modernize large-scale web applications for hirify.global.com.
• Influence architecture and technical direction for a business-critical platform serving thousands of customers across North America.
• Contribute to project planning, architecture discussions, code reviews, and complex initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Improve application performance and deliver solutions that enhance the customer experience in collaboration with teams across hirify.global.
• Mentor and coach developers, provide technical guidance, and help resolve engineering challenges.
• Explore and apply AI-powered solutions and emerging technologies, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Azure AI, and vector search.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including experience developing web or eCommerce applications.
• Experience developing with .NET, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, and collaboration skills.
• hirify.global does not participate in the H-1B lottery.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Kibana, Elasticsearch, or Dynatrace.
• Experience with data integration tools such as NiFi.
