Manager, Fraud Prevention

Location: Los Angeles, CA; onsite

Salary: $120,000–$130,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus under the current bonus plan.

What you will do

• Manage daily fraud team operations, including priorities, agent scheduling, KPIs, and performance reviews.
• Develop policies and procedures to reduce fraudulent activity and recover losses.
• Own the team development roadmap, including strategic priorities, staffing, resource planning, and tool or system procurement.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for Global Fraud, Chargebacks, and Payments Operations across departments.
• Provide input on functional-area decisions and budget planning.
• Support team engagement, motivation, development, and delivery of exceptional service.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in fraud prevention.
• 2+ years of experience managing teams.
• Strong understanding of payment operations, anti-fraud systems, and chargeback systems.
• Familiarity with SQL or scripting languages.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work in a team.
• Familiarity with project management.
