QA Analyst

Location: Hybrid in Redwood City, California, United States; the role is also described as full-time onsite in Redwood City, CA.

Salary: $50–$59 per hour.

What you will do

• Translate business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications into detailed test cases with County and vendor staff and stakeholders.
• Design, write, and execute tests for platform functionality, features, and bug fixes.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, UAT, security, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects; coordinate with vendor QA testers to verify fixes.
• Validate platform configurations and custom Apex code against requirements.
• Verify REST API data exchange, data migration and operational data integrity using Postman, Data Loader, SOQL, and SQL; provide status reports and support County users during integration testing and UAT.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience with testing methodologies.
• Resume demonstrating relevant qualifications for the requested services.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions, including repetitive computer work and communication with customers and team members by phone and in person.
• Ability to perform sedentary work with occasional movement around the office for meetings.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management and testing tools such as Jira and Postman.
• Experience with enterprise applications, SaaS implementations, system integrations, and data migration or conversion.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with business users, analysts, developers, vendors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Experience with test automation capabilities and tools where relevant.
