Director of AI Delivery Management (AI)

Location: Hybrid out of Rahway, New Jersey, United States; geographically distributed teams and travel may be involved.

Salary: $173,200–$272,600 base salary annually for the primary location; annual bonus and long-term incentive may also apply.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of AI implementation projects, programs, initiatives, and strategic pursuits.
• Establish and oversee delivery teams, including full-time employees and contractors across multiple technology centers.
• Guide product strategy, roadmaps, lifecycle management, requirements, user experience, and go-to-market readiness.
• Manage AI portfolio intake, prioritization, valuation, investment decisions, reporting, and stage-gate governance.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, consulting, workshops, opportunity identification, and alignment between business needs and technical execution.
• Monitor delivery health, customer satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes from AI initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, MS in AI/ML, Computer Science, or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Exceptional senior-leader relationship-building, executive presence, communication, facilitation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated thought leadership in AI strategy, product management, portfolio governance, and enterprise transformation.
• Experience with financial valuation, ROI analysis, risk assessment, prioritization frameworks, governance design, agile practices, product management, and portfolio management tools.
• Experience leading dispersed teams and managing across multiple geographies, including managers or leaders across multiple functional teams.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in software development or related functions, with a proven trajectory to senior leadership.
• At least 10 years leading managers or leaders across multiple functional teams and geographies.
• At least 5 recent years delivering enterprise AI or intelligent automation solutions that produced measurable business impact.
• Experience operating at scale in a large enterprise environment, including product or software lifecycle management and stakeholder engagement.
