Senior Engineer, Partner Integrations Platform (Healthcare Data)

Location: Remote, USA; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary: $145,000–$160,000 annually.

What you will do

• Build and scale partner data pipelines and transformation processes using Python, DBT, Workato, Rivery, and Snowflake.
• Design reliable, secure, high-performance systems for large datasets and complex processing.
• Integrate third-party systems and develop data validation, monitoring, and integrity strategies.
• Troubleshoot pipeline and integration issues while supporting scheduled operations and audits.
• Collaborate with the onshore team, product managers, and cross-functional partners to define data requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Maintain integration specifications, data-flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and other technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience working as a senior data engineer.
• Proficiency in Python for developing high-scale solutions and platforms.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, ETL tools, and microservices architecture.
• Experience supporting consumer-facing products with backend data systems.
• UI experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Healthcare informatics experience and understanding of health plan operations.
• Familiarity with healthcare claims billing and interoperability standards including EDI X12, HL7v2/3, and FHIR.
