Foundry Construction, Supply Chain and Sourcing Intern – Undergraduate (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid work model with on-site work at assigned hirify.global sites in Phoenix, Arizona; Chandler, Arizona; Santa Clara, California; Albuquerque, New Mexico; New Albany, Ohio; or Hillsboro, Oregon. Some assignments may require on-site work in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Salary: $64,798.00–$64,802.00 USD annual salary range for the hourly role; the specific internship rate depends on degree, location, and role.

What you will do

• Support construction, sourcing, supply chain, or engineering projects involving planning, execution, cost, schedules, and controls.
• Analyze data and prepare project updates, recommendations, and process-improvement insights.
• Work with suppliers, contractors, engineers, factory teams, and other business partners.
• Support strategic sourcing, procurement, materials, inventory, logistics, planning, contracting, and commercial activities as assigned.
• Contribute to tool installation, facilities construction, design coordination, field validation, safety, quality, and continuous improvement as assigned.
• Apply academic knowledge to complex technical and business challenges in semiconductor manufacturing.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical or Process Engineering, Materials Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Business, MBA, or a related field.
• Some assignments may require on-site work in a construction, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Students should be curious, collaborative, analytical, comfortable solving problems, and excited to learn in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Coursework, projects, internships, or experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, logistics, construction, project management, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Experience with supplier or contractor management, data analytics or visualization, project controls, cost, scheduling, or process improvement.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing or construction.
